Student Internship Program
At Williams International College, we believe in blending academic learning with real-world experience. Our Internship Program is designed to prepare students for the professional world by providing hands-on exposure in a business environment.
Overview
Students are required to undergo a 4-week internship in a business organization of their choice — whether tiny, small, medium, or large-scale — as a mandatory part of the curriculum.
Internship Timeline
• The internship must be completed immediately after the 4th Semester Examinations and at least 45 days before the end of the 6th Semester classes.
• This timeline ensures that students have ample opportunity to apply classroom knowledge and gain industry insight before graduation.
Report Submission & Evaluation
• Students must submit a comprehensive Internship Report to the College upon completion.
• The College will evaluate the internship and submit internship marks along with the 6th Semester Internal Assessment.
Marking Scheme
• Total Marks: 100
-Internship Report: 60 Marks
-Viva Voce (Oral Presentation): 40 Marks
• Both the report evaluation and the viva voce will be conducted at the institutional level by faculty members.
Academic Support and Monitoring
To support students through the internship journey:
• 1 hour/week of classroom instruction is dedicated to guiding students on internship expectations, objectives, and report preparation.
• 2 hours/week of practical classes are utilized to monitor internship progress, provide feedback, and ensure alignment with academic goals.
